What began as a small outdoor furniture workshop has grown into a full-scale wellness manufacturing operation serving dealers and distributors across Canada, the United States, and international markets. Leisurecraft began as a family-owned Canadian manufacturer in
Melancthon, Ontario (formerly Dundalk), founded
with a simple belief: when products are built with care, quality,
and respect for materials, they earn a place in people's lives for
generations.
What started in 2004 as a small operation focused on handcrafted outdoor cedar furniture has grown steadily and thoughtfully. Today, Leisurecraft operates across six manufacturing buildings and is supported by a skilled team of more than 30 employees, each playing a role in bringing our products to life.
As our customers and dealer network grew, so did our offerings. We expanded from outdoor furniture into authentic saunas, then into additional wellness and lifestyle products — always guided by how people actually use and enjoy them. Over time, we introduced new wood types, expanded our collections, and refined our designs to meet the needs of homes, cottages, and wellness spaces across a wide range of climates.
Our growth has never been about chasing trends. It has been built on craftsmanship, service, and long-term relationships. We work exclusively with retail partners and dealers across Canada, the United States, and Europe, listening closely to their feedback and evolving our products accordingly. Many of our designs exist today because of conversations with dealers and customers who use our products every day.
Sustainability has also been central to our journey. We source wood from responsibly managed, replenishing forests and partner with mills that share our commitment to environmental stewardship. As we look ahead, we continue to invest in smarter processes, durable designs, and materials that reduce our ecological footprint — without compromising quality.
